A Brush with Kindness

WHY IT MATTERS

A Brush with Kindness ensures that families live in a safe and well-maintained homes. The program is designed to revitalize the appearance of the neighborhood, encourage connections within the community and most importantly, help preserve affordable housing in island county.

A Brush with Kindness helps low-income homeowners impacted by age, disability and family circumstances reclaim their homes with pride and dignity. Volunteer teams work to improve the condition of homes by painting, landscaping, and performing minor exterior repairs for homeowners who would be unable to complete home repairs on their own.
