Attention: Court Ordered Community Service
At Habitat for Humanity of Island County, we believe in the power of second chances and the opportunity for individuals to make a positive impact on their community. If you are in need of completing court-ordered volunteer hours, we offer a specialized protocol to assist you in fulfilling your obligation.
Our Court-Ordered Volunteer Program is designed to help individuals seeking to give back and meet their legal requirements. Please note the following contingencies for participation:
Required Paperwork: You must provide all necessary documentation received from the court. This includes any paperwork detailing the nature of your offense and the number of hours required.
Specify the Crime: Be prepared to specify the nature of the offense for which you are completing volunteer hours. This information helps us assign appropriate tasks and ensure a safe and productive environment for all volunteers.
Advanced Notice: We kindly request a minimum of two weeks’ notice before your intended start date. This allows us to review your paperwork, assess your suitability for our program, and make necessary arrangements, and for you to complete our required volunteer orientation that all volunteers must complete.
If you are interested in completing your hours with Habitat for Humanity of Island County please fill out the interest form below and the Volunteer Coordinator will contact you.
